Norfolk Bowls Association League
1)
The League shall be called The Norfolk Bowls Association League, being a constituent part of Norfolk Bowls Association, subject to any change of title resulting from a sponsorship agreement.

Any alteration or change that materially affects the structure of the League and its zones shall be made only at the Annual Meeting or at a Special General Meeting. At such meetings, the alteration or change shall be put to the vote by:
(a) the appointed representatives of the clubs, and
(b) members of the League Management Committee.
Any such alteration or change shall require a 67% majority vote in favour.

Teams comprising each zone, or any agreed alternative, shall be determined by the League Management Committee, which reserves the right to make adjustments as deemed necessary from time to time.

The affairs of the Norfolk Bowls Association League shall be conducted by the Men’s County President, Men’s Honorary County Secretary, and Men’s Honorary League Secretary, who shall be elected by the Norfolk Bowls Association, together with a Vice-President, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and one representative from each zone of the League, who shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Norfolk Bowls Association League.

The League Management Committee shall consist of the President, Vice-President, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Honorary County Secretary, and one elected representative from each zone of the League. Five members shall form a quorum. Committee meetings shall be called at the discretion of the Secretary.

Membership of the League shall be open to all clubs affiliated to the Norfolk Bowls Association.

Entry fees shall be determined annually by the Norfolk Bowls Association. All entries must be submitted, and entry fees paid, to the County Competition Secretary no later than 1st November.

Alterations or additions to any of the foregoing rules shall be made only at the Annual Meeting or at a Special General Meeting convened for that purpose. Four weeks’ written notice of any proposed alteration or addition, which shall also be stated in the notice of business for such meeting, must be given to the Secretary.
All notices of motion must be submitted by clubs through their Honorary Secretaries, or by the League Management Committee through the League Secretary. Basic changes are subject to acceptance by the Men’s Section of the Norfolk Bowls Association.

The Annual Meeting of the League shall be held on a date fixed by the League Management Committee. Fourteen days’ notice of the meeting, and of all General Meetings, shall be given.
Recommendations and notices of motion shall be submitted either by the League Management Committee through the League Secretary, or by clubs through their Honorary Secretaries. Every item appearing on the agenda shall be discussed and put to the vote.
Members of all clubs may attend and take part in the business of a General Meeting, but only their appointed representative and members of the League Management Committee shall have voting rights.

At all meetings, the Chairman shall have a deliberate vote and, where necessary, a casting vote.
